Ongoing care for hypertension, type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol, asthma, and thyroid conditions. Includes between-visit message access, lab follow-up, and medication titration.
Acute infections, fevers, respiratory illness, urinary symptoms, rashes, and minor injuries. Seen the same morning you call, with on-site rapid testing for flu, strep, COVID, and urinalysis.

William Gustave, MD is a board-certified internist who trained at the University of Miami and practiced hospital medicine for nine years before opening this clinic in downtown West Palm Beach in 2014. The decision to stay small was deliberate.
Most primary care offices in South Florida schedule patients every eleven minutes. We schedule thirty. That single choice changes everything — it lets Dr. Gustave listen, examine, think, and explain. It is the difference between a prescription pad and a physician.
The practice sees a limited number of patients each day so that phone calls are returned the same afternoon, labs are reviewed before they are filed, and a real human — not a portal bot — answers when something is wrong.

Self-pay rates are listed below for transparency. We accept Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, and Medicare. We do not accept Medicaid or ACA marketplace plans at this time. Call ahead to confirm your specific plan is in-network.
The clinic keeps traditional weekday hours with extended Wednesday evenings for patients who work. Dr. Gustave takes hospital call on alternating weekends — the office is closed, but the after-hours line forwards to the covering physician.
