UTMB Health's General Internal Medicine clinic has anchored the Primary Care Pavilion on Harborside Drive for decades. We're the front door to adult medicine on Galveston Island — the place you call when you're sick, when you need a refill, and when you want a doctor who already knows your history.
Our mission is simple: excellent, accountable primary care for every adult who walks through Entrance A. As part of the UTMB Department of Internal Medicine, we train the next generation of physicians while we treat you — and we hold ourselves to the same standards of quality, fairness, and integrity you'd expect from any academic medical center.
