The Hillmont was started in 2014 by a husband-and-wife team who were tired of out-of-town management companies treating Hillsborough homes like line items on a spreadsheet. We keep our portfolio small on purpose — usually fewer than 120 properties at a time — so the person answering your call actually knows your house.
We run it like an

Every property we manage is paired with a dedicated property lead, a licensed maintenance technician on retainer, and a 24-hour tenant hotline that routes to a human — not a queue. Our owners get a monthly owner statement that actually reconciles, and our tenants get a real person when the heat quits in February.

02 — Proposal
A flat-fee management plan.
Within three business days you receive a written proposal with the management fee, leasing fee, and a suggested rental range backed by comps.
03 — Onboard
Documents, keys, portal access.
We collect leases, vendor contacts, and warranty info, then set up your owner portal and route the 24-hour tenant hotline to your property lead.
04 — Lease
Listed, shown, and leased.
Professional photography, MLS syndication, and private showings. Most Hillsborough properties are leased inside two weeks of going live.
