Southern Sheet Metal Ltd was established in 1986 by Mick Sollis. Through years of hard work and dedication, the workshop steadily expanded its equipment, refined its craft, and grew a customer base that keeps coming back.
This is a family business in the truest sense. Adam Sollis learned his craft working alongside his dad from a young age. Stevie Knee joined as a 17-year-old apprentice — and never left. When Mick decided to retire in 2015, Adam and Stevie took the reins together.
Today, the team is settled in a much larger workshop just outside the heart of Southampton, where traditional fabrication skills meet modern CNC precision.
