Cuban Cigars
Hand-made cigars from the great houses of Havana, kept at proper humidity in the walk-in humidor. Robustos, Churchills, Coronas, Petit Coronas — and the occasional harder-to-find stick for the regular who knows to ask.
Walk-in HumidorA proper tobacconist, the way it used to be. Hand-rolled Cuban cigars, loose pipe blends from the old houses, and a quiet back room of pipes, papers and smokers' goods. Open six days a week.
Step through the door at number twenty-five and you'll find what so many Bournemouth high streets have quietly lost — a specialist tobacconist, run by people who actually know the leaf. The humidor is stocked with hand-made Cuban cigars. The shelves hold loose hand-rolling tobacco by the ounce and pipe blends from houses that have been curing leaf since before any of us were born.
There are briar pipes, yes — new and estate — and the smokers' sundries that go with them: lighters, cutters, filters, papers, snuff and the rest. Behind the counter, advice is given freely and never in a hurry. Some customers have been coming for decades. Most arrive through word of mouth.
Specialist stock, kept properly. If you don't see it on the shelf, ask — we'll almost certainly be able to lay a hand on it.

Walk-in HumidorLoose pipe tobacco weighed out by the ounce — English mixtures, Virginia flakes, Latakia-laced aromatics and ready-rubbed dark leaf. Tinned blends from the old blenders, kept in their proper wrappers.
Weighed by HandFifty-gram pouches of the rolling blends people actually smoke, plus the rarer imported leaf for those who like to make their own. Cigarettes, papers, filters and tips alongside, on the front shelf.
Imported & DomesticNew briar pipes from the European makers, plus a small rotating cabinet of cleaned and reamed estate pipes — Peterson, Dunhill, Comoy, Savinelli. Pipe cleaners, filters and reamer tools always in stock.
New & EstateGlass and acrylic water pipes in a range of sizes, plus replacement bowls, down-stems and grommets. A modest, well-chosen selection rather than a wall of novelty — what most smokers actually want.
Glass & AcrylicSnuff in the old tins, plus the smokers' sundries most other shops have given up on: matches, flints, butane, pipe reamers, leather pouches, ashtrays and the kind of cutter you'll keep for twenty years.
Hard to FindThe humidor smells of cedar and Cuba, the gentleman behind the counter knows your usual, and the bell above the door still rings the same way it always has.— A Southbourne regular
