Shirley House 2 is a small self-catering guest house on Warren Avenue, in the gentle Shirley Warren corner of Southampton. We're a short walk from the city's working docks, the university campus, and the forested paths of the Common — close enough to be convenient, quiet enough that you'll actually sleep.

The house has been refitted with calm in mind: four private rooms, two fully equipped kitchens, a book-filled sitting area, and a long garden that catches the afternoon light. Bring your own coffee, your own schedule, your own reasons for being here. We provide everything else.

It's run by a small team who genuinely like running a guest house — which, if you've stayed in enough of them, you'll know is rarer than it sounds.
