Our Farm

Eighty acres,
farmed by nature.

Shelley Oaks is an 80-acre family farm on the edge of the New Forest in Hampshire. We farm slowly, alongside nature — having re-established the wildflower meadows and hedgerows that make these fields hum with life through the summer.

For years we've kept a flock of pedigree Jacob sheep — a hardy native breed with horns and a mixed colour fleece. They graze freely, slowly matured on 100% pasture, and produce the tastiest lean hogget lamb you'll find in a Hampshire meat box.

The campsite is woven into the heart of the farm. Tents tucked against the hedgerow, tourers parked where the meadow meets the orchard, and a shepherd's hut gazing out across the field. Welfare — for livestock, land, and guests — comes first here.

On The Field

All the comforts.
None of the concrete.

We've kept the things that matter — hot water, proper plumbing, a kitchen that actually works — and left out the things that don't. No arcade, no burger van, no thundering bass at 2am. Just the fields, the stars, and the occasional bleat from the flock.

★★★★★

"A genuinely magical spot. The kids ran wild in the meadow all day, the campfire was lit by dusk, and the Jacob sheep came to say hello at breakfast. We didn't want to leave."
