Screening Colonoscopy
The single most effective tool we have against colon cancer. Recommended for every adult beginning at age 45, with a thorough prep kit, pre-procedure call, and same-day results from our on-site pathology partner.
Dr. Salvatore Senzatimore, Jr., MD has practiced gastroenterology in South Florida for over two decades — board-certified, fellowship-trained at Jackson Memorial, and named a Top Doctor in Palm Beach County. From a first screening colonoscopy to the long, patient work of managing Crohn's disease, the practice keeps one promise: unhurried, evidence-led care, delivered close to home on North Olive Avenue.
About the Doctor
Dr. Senzatimore trained at New York Medical College, completed residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital, and finished his gastroenterology fellowship there in turn. He is board-certified in gastroenterology and has been recognized repeatedly by Palm Beach Illustrated as a Top Doctor — most recently in 2021.
The clinic on North Olive Avenue was built around a simple conviction: that the gut deserves a careful listener before it deserves a scope. Every first visit runs long. Every follow-up begins with the patient, not the chart. Diagnostic studies, endoscopic procedures, infusion therapy, and colorectal surgery are all coordinated under one roof — so a single phone call moves the whole case forward.
Patients in West Palm Beach and the surrounding counties come to the practice for everything from routine colon-cancer screening to the long, layered management of Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, fatty liver, and chronic reflux. Most leave with a plan written in plain English — and a number to call when something changes.
