About
A decade of quiet, dependable care on the Gulf Coast.
Salvation Healthcare Services Inc. began in 2014 with a simple conviction: that growing older at home should never mean growing alone. From a small office on Palmer Highway, our founders — two nurses who had spent careers inside Texas City's hospitals — set out to build the kind of agency they would want for their own parents.
A decade later, we remain family-owned and deliberately small. Our caregivers are background-checked, bonded, and trained in the small dignities that matter most — how to help someone bathe without embarrassment, how to listen to a story you have heard four times already, how to notice when a client is having a harder day than they let on.
We serve Texas City, La Marque, Dickinson, San Leon, and the surrounding communities of Galveston County. Whether you need a few hours of help each week or full daily support, we will build a plan around your household, your schedule, and your preferences — not the other way around.

Every plan begins with a free in-home assessment. The figures below are starting rates for the Texas City area — final pricing depends on level of care, schedule, and travel distance. We accept private pay, select long-term care policies, and most major Texas Medicaid waiver programs.

Skilled Nursing Visits
Licensed RN visits for medication administration, wound care, catheter management, injections, and post-hospital assessments. Coordinated with your physician's orders and reported back to family.

Companionship & Light Housekeeping
Friendly visits that ease isolation — conversation, walks, light meal prep, laundry, and errands. The most-requested service for families living out of town.

Respite Care for Families
Short-term relief for primary family caregivers — from a four-hour break to a full weekend. Lets you rest, attend appointments, or travel without worrying about who is at home.

Medication Reminders & Management
Trained caregivers ensure the right dose is taken at the right time, track refills, and flag side effects to our nursing supervisor. Reduces avoidable hospital readmissions.

Post-Hospital Recovery Support
A structured 7-to-14-day program following discharge from Mainland Medical Center or HCA Houston Clear Lake. Includes transportation, meal planning, fall-prevention checks, and daily nurse follow-up.

Live-In Care (24/7)
Continuous in-home presence for clients who should not be left alone. A dedicated caregiver lives in the home on a rotating schedule, providing around-the-clock supervision and assistance.
