A family-run engineering house, built on tolerance.

Established in 1961, RHH Franks remains a proudly family-run business with a long history of providing trusted and reliable manufacturing services to an enviable list of clients.

Delivering subcontract services to the aerospace industry from day one set the bar for everything that followed. We became specialists in adhering to the tightest of tolerances and specifications demanded by our customers — a discipline that still defines every job that leaves our facility.

Since then, the business has grown to supply turnkey manufacturing solutions across a range of industries: from complex precision components and simple assemblies through to complete part construction. Today, more than 40 skilled engineers operate from a modern 30,000 sq ft plant on the Gore Road Industrial Estate.

Dip brazing:
the unweldable, joined.

Dip brazing is a unique process that involves the immersion of aluminium parts into a bath of molten salt. The technique is used across the aerospace industry for the joining of intricate parts that simply can't be welded through conventional means.

The result is a homogeneous joint with excellent thermal conductivity, electrical continuity and structural integrity — ideal for complex housings, waveguides, heat exchangers and chassis assemblies.
