The Mariner
San Marzano, fresh mozzarella, oregano, basil, EVOO. The pie that started it all.
In 1998, the Marchetti family packed one wood-fired oven, three generations of recipes, and a stubborn belief that pizza should taste like something — and drove south until the air turned salty.
We landed in La Marque, between Houston and Galveston, and never left. What started as a single counter and a hand-painted sign has become the neighborhood spot for slow-fermented crusts, hand-pulled mozzarella, and sauce that still gets crushed by hand every morning.
We don't rush dough. We don't pre-shred cheese. We don't use a timer when we can use our eyes. Every pizza that leaves this kitchen was made for someone — usually by name.
"The fire doesn't follow a recipe.
Neither do we."
Whether you're feeding a family of five on a Tuesday or catering a hundred at the plant, we've got a lane for it. Same dough, same oven, same family.
Pull up a booth, watch the oven work, share a pitcher of Peroni. We seat the whole family — kids included — and the bread basket is always warm.
