It's not weak
to speak.

ManGang is a network of men across Southampton and Hampshire who believe that talking about what's going on inside your head isn't a weakness — it's the strongest thing you'll ever do. No judgement. No BS. Just men who get it.

#ItsNotWeakToSpeak Men gathered in a circle at a ManGang peer support meeting in Southampton, talking and listening to each other
"Walked in not knowing what to expect. Walked out knowing I wasn't on my own with it."
— Member, Southampton group

A room full of men who actually get it.

We're not therapists. We're not counsellors. We're men who've been there — the sleepless nights, the short temper, the pressure of holding everything together. ManGang exists so no man in Hampshire has to sit with it on his own.

01

Show up. That's the whole brief.

You don't need to prepare a speech or have the right words. Turn up, grab a seat, sit quietly if you want. There's no pressure to speak until you're ready — and no one's keeping score.

02

No judgement. No BS.

Our groups are free from judgement, with no hidden agendas. We're not here to fix you and we're not here to sell you anything. We're simply here so men can talk to other men.

03

The conversation goes where it needs to.

By sitting with someone who's faced similar highs and lows, you realise you're not alone — and you get the kind of support that a lot of men have never had access to before.

04

It costs nothing. It's just there.

Every meeting is free. No membership, no sign-up forms, no waiting list. Turn up on a Wednesday night and you're in.

Our story

ManGang started with a simple belief: that it shouldn't be this hard for men to talk about what's going on in their heads. Modern life piles the pressure on — work, family, money, expectations — and most of us were never shown how to actually say "I'm not alright" out loud.

So we built a space where saying it is normal. Where a builder, a teacher, a dad, a son, a lad fresh out of college and a man who's been around the block can all sit in the same room and find out they've been carrying the same weight.

Today we run free peer-to-peer meetings across Southampton and the surrounding areas — and we've helped men all across Hampshire speak up about what's really going on.

Every Wednesday. Pull up a chair.

No booking needed. No fee. Just turn up on the night. Meetings run across Hampshire — pick the one closest to you.

The first time I walked through the door I nearly turned around and went home. Best decision I ever made was not turning around.
