Assisted Living
Help with bathing, dressing, and medication management — delivered with dignity by staff who learn each resident's preferences by heart.
Licensed residential assisted living for six seniors in the heart of Hillsborough Township. Twenty-four-hour staff, home-cooked meals, and a routine that feels like home — because it is.
Swipe through the services we offer our residents. Every plan is built around the person, not the diagnosis — these are starting points, not fine print.

Mallard Road Group Home opened in 2009 in a converted colonial on a quiet residential street in Hillsborough Township. We did not set out to build a facility. We set out to keep a home — six private bedrooms, one shared kitchen, one long dining table, and a back garden where the tomatoes come back every July.
Our residents are neighbors, not patients. They eat together, watch the birds together, and argue about the Yankees together. Our staff — the same five faces, year after year — know each one by name, by story, and by the small habits that make a person who they are.
We are licensed by the New Jersey Department of Health as a Class C residential care facility, inspected annually, and proud of every report we have ever received. We do not have a marketing department. We have word of mouth, and it has kept us full for fifteen years.
Transparent monthly rates, no entrance fees, no tiered "levels of care" that surprise you later. The price we quote is the price you pay. Below is our full service list — the same one we hand every family on their first visit.

A 1920s colonial on a half-acre lot, adapted for senior living without losing its character. Wide doorways, walk-in showers, and a ramp to the back garden — but still the original moldings, the original fireplace, and the original front porch.
We do not run open houses. We run private visits, one family at a time, usually over lunch with our current residents. You will meet the staff who would care for your mother or father, see the room that may become theirs, and ask every hard question you have written down.
Use the form to request a tour, or call us during business hours. We answer the phone ourselves — no recordings, no menus, no waiting.
