Dr Jeffrey O'Carroll, founder and Principal of The Dental Group, Southampton
“

I've spent thirty years learning that a great dentist listens first, and treats second.”

Dr Jeffrey John O'Carroll (B.D.S) is the Director and Principal of The Dental Group. Jeff qualified as a Dentist in 1986 at the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, and has called England home since 1989.

In April 1993, alongside his wife Giselle, Jeff co-founded The Dental Group on Brookvale Road — a surgery that had already been caring for Southampton smiles for decades. Under his stewardship, the practice has grown into one of the city's most trusted names in private dental care.

While he provides most aspects of general dentistry, Jeff is particularly passionate about cosmetic dentistry — including smile makeovers and orthodontics — fields in which he has built roughly thirty years of dedicated experience.
