Dr. Jose R. Reyes Jr, MD brings sixteen years of interventional pain medicine to the Gulf Coast — a practice built on diagnostic precision, image-guided procedures, and long-term partnership with patients living with chronic pain.
Sixteen years of image-guided precision, one patient at a time. The needle is only as good as the diagnosis behind it.
Interventional Pain Specialists was founded in Texas City in 2009 with a single conviction: chronic pain deserves the same diagnostic rigor as any other branch of medicine. Before a single needle is placed, every patient completes a structured workup — history, physical exam, and review of prior imaging — so that the procedure serves the diagnosis, not the other way around.
Dr. Reyes trained in anesthesiology and completed a fellowship in pain medicine at a Level I trauma center. He brings that acute-care discipline into an outpatient setting: fluoroscopically guided injections, ultrasound-guided nerve blocks, and neuromodulation for patients who have exhausted conservative options.
The clinic accepts most major commercial plans, Medicare, and Texas Workers’ Compensation cases. New patient consultations are typically scheduled within the same week.
Every service below is performed in-office under fluoroscopic or ultrasound guidance. Indicative pricing reflects self-pay rates; insured patients are billed per their plan’s contracted rate.
