The Practice

A clinic built
around time.

Most adult primary care in South Florida runs on volume — fifteen patients a day, seven minutes each, a referral for anything complicated. We chose the opposite. Internal Medicine Associates was founded in 2009 by physicians who wanted to practice the way they were trained: with the time to listen, the labs to investigate, and the continuity to actually manage chronic disease.

We see adults eighteen and older — young professionals navigating new diagnoses, mid-life patients overdue for a real physical, and older Floridians managing hypertension, diabetes, thyroid disease, or the slow accumulation of age. Our physicians are board-certified in internal medicine, not family practice, which means our training is focused entirely on adult disease.

Visits run thirty to forty-five minutes by design. We keep same-day and next-day slots open for acute concerns, and our on-site lab means most bloodwork is drawn before you leave the office. Results are reviewed by your physician — not routed to a triage pool — and returned through a patient portal with a plain-language summary.

We accept most major commercial insurance, traditional Medicare, and Medicare Advantage plans. For uninsured patients, we publish our visit prices upfront. No surprise bills, no facility fees, no balance billing.

Why Us

Drag the line.
See the difference.

The left side is what a typical fifteen-minute visit looks like — rushed, transactional, a prescription on the way out. The right side is what we actually do: forty-five minutes, a real review of your history, labs ordered with intention, and a written plan you take home. Slide the handle to compare.

15-min visit Our 45-min visit

45-minute visits

Long enough to actually review your history, not just this morning's symptom. Booked back-to-back, never double-booked.

On-site labs

Most bloodwork drawn in-office before you leave. Results back within 24–48 hours, reviewed by your physician personally.

Same-week access

We hold same-day and next-day slots for acute concerns. No six-week wait for an appointment you needed last Tuesday.

Written care plan

Every visit ends with a one-page summary: what we found, what changed, what to watch for, and when to come back. Plain English.

Services & Pricing

What we treat,
and what it costs.

Indicative prices below reflect our self-pay rates for uninsured patients. Most commercial insurance and Medicare plans cover the majority of these services with a standard copay. We verify benefits before your first visit and tell you the expected out-of-pocket cost upfront — never on the back of a statement three months later.
