Wood-fired, every pie
Pecan and apple wood burned down to embers, 900°F brick floor, ninety seconds from peel to plate. That char isn't an accident — it's the whole point.
Hunt Brothers Pizza started in 2009 as a single brick oven on Cerrillos Road, run by two brothers who figured Santa Fe deserved a pie that tasted like the high desert — smoky, slow, and a little bit wild. We still split every ball of dough by hand, still pull our mozzarella fresh each morning, and still let the fire do the talking.
Everything that leaves our kitchen passes through that oven first: the pizzas, the calzones, the roasted vegetables, even the bread we serve with the pasta. It's a small kitchen with a hot heart, and we like it that way.
Cerrillos Rd · Santa Fe
We're not trying to be the biggest pizzeria in Santa Fe — just the one you'll remember tomorrow. Here's what goes into every box that leaves the kitchen.
Pecan and apple wood burned down to embers, 900°F brick floor, ninety seconds from peel to plate. That char isn't an accident — it's the whole point.
San Marzano tomatoes simmered slow with garlic, basil, and a pinch of red chile. We start the pot before sunrise so it's deep and bright by the time the doors open.
Green chile from the Hatch valley, mozzarella pulled in-house every morning, produce from Northern New Mexico farms. When the farms send something good, the menu shifts to match.
We're a small corner kitchen on Cerrillos Road — walk in, order ahead, or grab a pie to go. Counter service only, but the wood-fired oven keeps the whole room warm. Drop a note below and we'll have your order ready when you walk in.
