Operated by Hills Quarry Products, Mortimer Quarry sits on the chalk downlands south of Reading. For decades we have extracted and processed the limestone deposits beneath Welshmans Road — supplying the foundations, roads and gardens of Royal Berkshire, Hampshire and Wiltshire.
Every load is weighed on our calibrated weighbridge, sampled by our on-site laboratory and accompanied by a declaration of conformity. We hold ISO 14001 certification for environmental management and restore worked land to agriculture and wildflower meadow as standard.
Collection is available six days a week — or arrange tipper, grab or articulated delivery across RG, SL, SN and SP postcode areas.
