Eleven quiet acres of Hampshire farmland, four miles from ancient Romsey and a stone's throw from the New Forest. No fuss, no noise — just fields, woodland, and stars.
We're a small, family-run park on the western edge of the New Forest, set in eleven acres of Hampshire countryside. Surrounded by working fields and old woodland, the site has the unhurried feel of a proper farm — because that's exactly what it is.
It's an ideal base for campers and caravanners touring Hampshire, Wiltshire and Dorset. The pace here suits mature visitors looking for a peaceful break, and families with young children who want space to roam without the noise of a holiday park.
Tents, touring caravans, motorhomes and small campervans are all welcome — and the dogs can come too.
Powered pitches across the site for caravans, motorhomes and campervans that need a little juice.
Clean, well-kept facilities on site — kept that way because we use them ourselves.
The New Forest is on the doorstep. Bring the dog — they'll have a better holiday than you.
Space for tents, touring caravans, motorhomes and small campervans — never overcrowded.
Walk out of the gate and into ancient woodland, heath and wandering ponies.
Proper dark skies. No light pollution, no glare — just the Milky Way when the clouds clear.
A short drive to a proper old market town — pubs, shops, abbey, and a bustling market square.
No clubhouse, no entertainment — just the sounds of the countryside doing its thing.
Hill Farm opens for the season on the 1st of March and welcomes guests through to the end of October. We're currently taking bookings for 2026 — get in touch to reserve your pitch.
Hill Farm sits just outside the village of Sherfield English, on Branches Lane — a quiet country lane that earns its name. We're four miles from Romsey, ten minutes from the New Forest boundary, and an easy drive from Salisbury, Southampton and the M27.
"Exactly what we wanted — peaceful, well-kept, and unpretentious. The facilities are spotless and the owners clearly care about the place. We'll be back next spring."
"Took the kids and the dog for a long weekend. They ran feral in the safest possible way. Brilliant base for exploring the New Forest without the caravan-park chaos."
"A proper old-fashioned campsite, in the best sense. Quiet at night, dark skies, bird song in the morning. Romsey's a lovely little town nearby. We've already rebooked."
We don't take online bookings — we prefer a proper conversation. Call us, and we'll find the right pitch for you and answer any questions about the site, the area, or what to bring.
