Our Story
Three generations on the refinery floor.
Hensford Machinery Distributor opened its first shop on Texas City's industrial loop in 1987, when founder Dale Hensford Sr. saw a gap between what the local petrochemical operators needed and what the national distributors were willing to ship on short notice. He built the business around a simple promise — keep the parts that matter most in stock, and answer the phone when the night shift calls.
Nearly four decades later, that promise still holds. We operate a 24,000-square-foot facility two miles from the Port of Texas City, with a CNC bay, a hydraulic clean room, and a fleet of lowboys that move equipment across the refinery corridor six days a week. Our machinists average nineteen years on the floor.
