Internal medicine with a quieter kind of care.

Dr. Mary Jo Godinich, MD, has practiced internal medicine in Texas City for over fifteen years — seeing fewer patients per day, longer per visit, with the time to actually listen.

About the practice

A clinic built around long conversations, not five-minute visits.

Dr. Godinich founded the practice in 2009 after a decade in hospital medicine, with one goal: keep the schedule short enough that she could sit down, look up from the chart, and ask how things really are at home. That philosophy still shapes the clinic today.

The body keeps its own record. My job is to read it slowly, with the patient, before I reach for a prescription pad.
