Who we are — 01

A small, deliberate brokerage writing one chapter of your Gulf Coast story.

Ford Realty Group opened its doors on Sixth Street in Texas City in 2009 — three agents, one leased storefront, and a stubborn belief that property management and residential sales should never feel like separate businesses.

Today our team of eleven looks after 340 households across Galveston County — homeowners selling, renters settling in, and landlords who would rather not field a 2 a.m. call about a water heater.

We are not a volume shop. We deliberately cap new listings at thirty per quarter so every property gets the same walkthrough, the same comparable analysis, and the same photographer. Our management clients receive a named property manager — not a rotating extension.

Fifteen years in, we still answer the phone ourselves, and we still live within fifteen minutes of every house we represent.

What we do — 02

Four practices, one standard of care.

01

Residential Sales

Single-family homes, townhomes, and waterfront property across Texas City, La Marque, and Dickinson. Pricing strategy built on twelve months of Gulf Coast comparables — not a zip-code average.

$6,950 Listing side, typical
02

Property Management

Full-service management for landlords with one door or twenty. Rent collection, 24-hour maintenance dispatch, annual inspections, and detailed owner statements on the 10th of every month.

8% of monthly rent
03

Home Valuation

A 14-page comparative market analysis delivered within three business days. We walk the property in person, pull county records, and price to the nearest $2,500 — not the nearest $10,000.

$0 Free, no obligation
04

Advisory & Leasing

Long-term rental placement, lease structuring, and pre-listing renovation guidance for owners weighing a sale against a hold. Hourly advisory for first-time Gulf Coast investors is also available.

$185 per hour, advisory
How we work — 03

From first call to closed door, four deliberate steps.

Step 01

Listening Visit

We walk the property together, hear the timeline, and review any existing inspection or survey documents. No paperwork, no pitch — just questions.

60–90 minutes
Step 02

Pricing Strategy

A written comparable analysis within three business days, anchored to twelve months of Galveston County sales and current active inventory on the same street.

3 business days
Step 03

Marketing & Showings

Professional photography, a 3D walkthrough, MLS listing within 48 hours of signing, and personally attended showings — never a lockbox-only tour.

2–6 weeks active
Step 04

Close & Aftercare

We sit at the closing table with you, review every line of the HUD-1, and follow up at 30 and 90 days to make sure the house has settled properly.

30–45 days to close

What you will never see from us

We publish our commission schedule because we believe a real estate transaction should be legible from the first conversation. The numbers above are the numbers on the closing statement — no administrative add-ons, no surprise marketing fees.

  • No upfront listing fee — we are paid at closing
  • No charge for standard photography or 3D walkthrough
  • No management fee on vacant months, ever
  • No early-termination fee on management agreements after 12 months
  • Hourly advisory capped at $925 per engagement
Begin — 06

Request a valuation or a listing conversation.

Tell us a little about the property and what you are weighing — a sale, a rental, or simply a clearer sense of its current value. A named member of our team will reply within one business day. No automated drip, no third-party call center.
