Dr. Fan Li opened this practice in Texas City in 2011 after a decade on staff at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. The premise was simple: adults in Galveston County deserve a doctor who knows their chart by heart, not a rotating face in a hospital network.
We are a small, independent clinic. That means a 30-minute follow-up actually lasts 30 minutes. It means Dr. Li returns your phone call personally when labs come back flagged. And it means your treatment plan is built around your life — your work schedule, your insurance, your family history — not a template.
Patients stay with us for an average of nine years. We think that's the only metric worth tracking.

We publish our self-pay rates because surprise billing is the worst kind of stress. Prices below are for patients without insurance. If you have Aetna, BCBS, UnitedHealthcare, or Medicare, we bill directly — your only cost is the copay at the counter.

The clinic is located in the Texas City medical corridor, a short drive from La Marque, Dickinson, and the Tanger Outlets area. Free patient parking is available on-site.
Same-week appointments are typically available. Call ahead — we keep a small block of urgent slots open each morning for sick visits.
The difference is the thirty minutes you actually get.
Most adult primary care in this region is delivered through hospital-owned networks, where a physician is expected to see a new patient every eleven minutes. We do the opposite. New-patient visits are scheduled for a full hour. Follow-ups run thirty minutes. If we run late, it's because the person before you needed the time — and you'll get the same courtesy.
Dr. Li personally reviews every chart, every lab, every imaging report. There is no mid-level provider acting as a gatekeeper. When you call the office with a question, the person who picks up the phone sits twenty feet from your doctor.
