Diabetes Management
Type 1, Type 2, and gestational diabetes. Continuous glucose monitoring, insulin pump therapy, and personalized treatment plans.
Dr. William Alan Kaye, MD, FACP — triple-boarded in internal medicine, endocrinology, and nephrology — leads an ADA-certified Center of Excellence serving patients across four South Florida counties.
One of a handful of triple-boarded physicians in the world — internal medicine, endocrinology, and nephrology.
Dr. Kaye received his medical degree from Brown University, where he was elected to the Sigma Xi Scientific Honor Society. He completed his internal medicine training at Brown and its affiliated hospitals, followed by a nephrology fellowship at Cornell University Medical Center at New York Hospital and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
He subsequently joined the faculty of Harvard University Medical School, serving as a consultant to the prestigious Joslin Diabetes Center and the New England Deaconess Hospital in Boston. Concomitant with his faculty position, he completed an endocrinology and diabetes fellowship at that institution.
In 1985, Dr. Kaye founded Palm Beach Diabetes and Endocrine Specialists, PA — today grown to include twelve board-certified endocrinologists across four counties. He is past president of the Palm Beach County American Diabetes Association and served as chief of endocrinology at both Good Samaritan and St. Mary's Hospitals.
