A clinic built around long conversations, not short appointments.

Dr. Sanjay Khanduja opened the practice in 2009 with a simple premise: adults in Texas City deserve a doctor who knows their name, their history, and their grandkids — not just their chart number.

Fifteen years in, that premise still holds.

We're a small internal medicine practice by design. Dr. Khanduja sees a limited number of patients each day so every visit has room to breathe — for questions, for context, for the kind of medicine that doesn't fit into a template. No mid-level extenders, no rotating faces, no portal messages answered by someone you've never met.

Our patients are adults 18 and up across Texas City, La Marque, Dickinson, and the wider Galveston County corridor. They come for annual physicals, chronic disease management, pre-op clearances, and the second opinion a fifteen-minute visit somewhere else couldn't quite deliver.

We accept most major commercial plans along with traditional Medicare and Medicare Advantage. If you're uninsured or carrying a high deductible, we publish our cash prices below — the same prices we'd quote anyone, with or without coverage.

Annual wellness physical

A 45-minute preventive exam with full history review, BP / heart / lung assessment, age-appropriate screening plan, and a written summary you can actually read. Includes EKG if clinically indicated.

Chronic disease management

Ongoing care for hypertension, type 2 diabetes, hyperlipidemia, thyroid disease, and asthma / COPD. 30-minute follow-ups, medication titration, and quarterly review of labs and home readings.

Same-day sick visit

Acute concerns — respiratory infections, UTIs, back pain, rashes, GI illness. Reserved daily for established patients; we hold four slots every weekday morning for same-day booking.

On-site diagnostic labs

CBC, comprehensive metabolic panel, lipid panel, A1C, TSH, vitamin D, and PSA drawn in-office. Most results back within 24 hours, reviewed with you by phone or in person — not silently posted to a portal.

Pre-operative clearance

History & physical, EKG, and risk stratification for elective surgery. We coordinate directly with your surgeon's office and anesthesia team, and turn the paperwork around in 48 hours.

Telehealth follow-up

Video visits for medication refills, lab review, and chronic disease check-ins where an in-person exam isn't required. Available to established patients across Texas.
