New Patient Consultation
A comprehensive sixty-minute intake including full medical history, baseline vitals, medication review, and a physician discussion of your health goals and concerns.
A solo internal medicine practice serving adults across Palm Beach County since 1998. Unhurried visits, direct physician access, and diagnostics handled under one roof — the way adult medicine was meant to be practiced.
New patient consultations are typically scheduled within two weeks. We accept most major commercial insurance plans and offer self-pay rates for those between coverage.
Dr. Robert A. Wacks has practiced internal medicine in West Palm Beach since 1998. After completing his residency at Mount Sinai, he chose to build a small, independent practice rather than join a corporate network — because the best medicine, in his experience, happens when a physician has time to sit down.
The practice is built around a simple idea: adults deserve a doctor who knows their history, not just their last lab result. Visits are scheduled for thirty minutes, not fifteen. Same-day calls are answered by a person, not a directory tree. And every patient is seen by Dr. Wacks himself — not rotated through a series of associates.
From annual physicals to the management of complex chronic conditions, the office handles the full range of adult primary care. On-site phlebotomy and EKG mean most diagnostics are completed in a single visit, without sending patients across town to a lab.
From preventive screenings to the ongoing management of chronic conditions, every service is delivered by Dr. Wacks personally. Indicative self-pay pricing is shown for patients without insurance — most major commercial plans are accepted and billed directly.
A comprehensive sixty-minute intake including full medical history, baseline vitals, medication review, and a physician discussion of your health goals and concerns.
Preventive exam with cardiovascular screening, age-appropriate cancer risk review, immunization updates, and a written wellness plan for the year ahead.
Ongoing care for hypertension, type 2 diabetes, thyroid disorders, and elevated cholesterol — with quarterly check-ins and lab trend tracking.
Phlebotomy, comprehensive metabolic panels, lipid panels, A1C, and EKG performed on-site. Most results are reviewed with you within forty-eight hours.
Acute care for respiratory infections, urinary tract infections, rashes, and other urgent but non-emergency concerns. Reserved daily for established patients.
A structured review of every prescription, supplement, and over-the-counter medication you take — checking for interactions, duplication, and cost-saving alternatives.
The office sees patients by appointment only. Same-day sick visits are held each morning for established patients with acute concerns — call as close to 8:00 AM as possible to claim one of those slots.
“He sat down, looked me in the eye, and asked what was actually going on. I had forgotten that medicine could feel like that.” — M.R., patient since 2011
