01 — The Practice
A clinic built around the visit, not the queue.
Dr. Ludwig trained at the University of Virginia and spent eleven years in hospital medicine before opening a single-doctor practice in West Palm Beach in 2014. The premise was simple: see fewer people, more carefully.
Today the practice caps at roughly 1,200 patients — about a third the size of a typical primary-care panel. That cap is what makes same-week appointments possible, and what lets a 30-minute visit actually last 30 minutes.
In-house phlebotomy, EKG, and spirometry mean most workups are finished in a single visit. When something needs a specialist, Dr. Ludwig picks up the phone rather than handing you a referral printout.

Charts read in advance
Your last three visits, recent labs, and outstanding questions are reviewed before the appointment — not on a rolling chair outside the exam room.

One problem, properly
We don't try to solve six things in fifteen minutes. We name the most important thing and give it the room it deserves. The rest gets a real follow-up.

Direct line to your doctor
After-hours messages are returned by Dr. Ludwig personally, not a triage pool. Most calls back happen the same evening.

Specialists, introduced
When you need cardiology, dermatology, or a GI consult, we don't just fax a referral. We call the specialist while you're still in the room.

Before you visit
New patients: please arrive 15 minutes early to complete intake paperwork, or print and bring the new-patient packet we'll email when you book.
If you're transferring from another primary-care doctor, bring a copy of your last twelve months of labs and any imaging reports. We'll handle the records request on our end if you'd prefer — just sign the release at the front desk.
Parking is free in the building's lot. The office is on the second floor, with elevator access. If you have mobility concerns, let us know and we'll arrange a first-floor room.
