Double board-certified endocrinologist serving Wellington and the greater West Palm Beach area. Dr. Cotto treats adult patients with thyroid disorders, diabetes, osteoporosis, and hormonal imbalances — with a practice built on listening first.
Dr. Leslie Cotto attended the University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez Campus, for her undergraduate education and obtained a degree in Biology. She then attended the San Juan Bautista School of Medicine in Puerto Rico for her Medical Degree.
She completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Miami School of Medicine. After residency, she joined JFK Medical Center as a Hospitalist for three years, where she was named Program Director for the Diabetes Program.
In 2017, Dr. Cotto moved to Texas to complete her Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism Fellowship at Baylor Scott & White / Texas A&M College of Medicine. During her training, she was awarded a Training Grant by the American Thyroid Association. She is double board-certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, and fluent in both English and Spanish.
