A trusted GP practice on Chessel Avenue, delivering thoughtful, unhurried medical care to families and individuals across Southampton — from routine consultations to long-term condition management.
Welcome to Chessel Practice — a Southampton GP surgery built on a simple promise: that everyone who walks through our doors is heard, respected, and cared for as an individual. Tucked into the heart of Bitterne Village, we've grown into one of the city's most trusted family practices, looking after the health of nearly 19,000 registered patients.
Under the care of Dr J A Lee and our experienced clinical team, we combine the warmth of a neighbourhood surgery with the breadth of a modern medical practice — from everyday consultations and childhood immunisations to asthma reviews, travel clinics and ongoing chronic disease management.
"Good medicine begins with listening. Every appointment here is an opportunity to slow down and treat the person, not just the symptom."
