Unhurried consults
Thirty-minute new-patient visits, not the standard twelve. We talk through history, medications, and what actually brought you in — without one hand on the door.
Dr. Drury L. Woodson has been seeing families across the Gulf Coast for over two decades — the kind of doctor who reads your whole chart before he walks in, and remembers your kid's name on the way out.
Thirty-minute new-patient visits, not the standard twelve. We talk through history, medications, and what actually brought you in — without one hand on the door.
CBC, metabolic panels, A1C, lipid panels, and thyroid panels drawn on-site. Most results back same day, reviewed with you — not just faxed into the void.
Twelve-lead EKG, spirometry, and point-of-care testing for strep, flu, and urinalysis. Read by Dr. Woodson himself, with a plain-English explanation before you leave.
Ongoing management for hypertension, type 2 diabetes, asthma, and thyroid conditions. Quarterly check-ins, medication reconciliation, and coordinated referrals when needed.
Annual physicals, school and sports clearances, and pre-employment exams. Includes vitals, full review, and a written summary you can actually keep.
Follow-ups, medication refills, and minor concerns handled by secure video — for the days you can't make it down to the clinic in person.
Dr. Woodson opened his La Marque practice in 2002, after a decade on staff at the regional hospital. He chose a small clinic on purpose — the kind of place where the front desk knows your voice on the phone and the doctor has time to sit down.
Today, the practice sees three generations of the same families. New patients are accepted on a rolling basis, and most are scheduled within the same week they call. No concierge fees, no membership, no app to download — just a doctor's office that still answers the phone.
We accept most major insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid. For patients without coverage, the cash prices below apply at the time of visit — no surprise bills, no facility fees, no hidden line items.
