Open every hour.
Midnight, 4am, Christmas morning, the day after a hurricane — the lights are on and the door is unlocked. We've never closed a single day in ten years. Not once.
A 24-hour bodega on Avenue B. Coffee at 4am, sandwiches at midnight, the things you need at the hours you need them. Run by people who actually live on the block.
We opened the shutters on Avenue B in the spring of 2014, with two coffee makers, a used ATM, and a stack of egg rolls from the bakery down the block. A decade later, the coffee makers have been replaced, but the rest is the same — we still know your order, we still carry your bag if you're short a hand, and we still open at the same time we always have: all of them.
This is a neighborhood store. The guy at the counter is Sal, who's been here since the beginning. The cat is Pepper. The sandwich is whatever you ask for, made the way you ask for it, on whatever roll we have left. We don't have an app. You just come in.
Step in. The bell above the door still works. The fluorescent still hums. The coffee's still hot.

Midnight, 4am, Christmas morning, the day after a hurricane — the lights are on and the door is unlocked. We've never closed a single day in ten years. Not once.
Sandwiches aren't pre-wrapped. Eggs aren't from a microwave. You tell us what you want, we make it in front of you, the way you asked. That's the deal.
Call ahead, we'll have it bagged and on a bike within thirty minutes — anywhere in Alphabet City, the East Village, and the lower LES. No app, no surge pricing, no nonsense.
Sal knows your name. Pepper the cat knows your order. We carry your bag if your hands are full. We've watched kids grow up on this block. That's not marketing — it's just how a bodega works.
We're on Avenue B in Alphabet City, between East 6th and East 7th. Look for the green awning and the neon sign that's been buzzing since 2014. If the lights are on — and they always are — we're open.
