Why Carlo
Dispatch lives five minutes from Route 70. When the basement is filling or the heat dies on the coldest night of the year, we are already on the way — not "scheduling you for Tuesday."
No hourly clock, no surprise line items. You see the number, you approve the number, and that is the number on the invoice. Trip fees credited toward any repair we perform.
New Jersey Master Plumber license #9271, EPA 608 universal certified, and $2M liability coverage. Every install pulled with proper permits and signed off by the township inspector.
If a system we installed fails, we fix it — parts and labor both — for a decade. We carry the manufacturer warranty paperwork ourselves so you never have to chase a 1-800 number.
The Carlo family has worked the same stretch of Camden County since 1998. We shop at the same grocery stores, coach the same little-league teams, and answer the phone like neighbors — because we are.
The Carlo Family
Carlo Plumbing & Heating started in 1998 out of a single truck parked behind the family house on Maple Avenue in Pennsauken. Sal Carlo Sr. ran service calls during the day and pulled permits at the township building at night. Twenty-seven years later the truck count is up to four, but the rule he wrote on the workshop whiteboard still stands: "Tell them the price before you pick up the wrench."
Today the shop is run by Sal Carlo Jr. — Master Plumber license #9271 — alongside a crew of five journeymen who grew up within fifteen minutes of the shop. We install and service furnaces, boilers, central air, water heaters, tankless systems, and whole-home repipes across Pennsauken, Cherry Hill, Maple Shade, Merchantville, and Camden. No subcontractors, no rotating crews, no "we'll be there between 8 and 4."
If you have lived in Pennsauken long enough, you have probably already seen one of our trucks at a neighbor's house. We would rather earn the next job on the block than chase the next zip code.
Real numbers, not "call for a quote." Every figure below is a typical starting price for a standard residential job in the Pennsauken area. Final quotes are signed in writing before any work begins.
Removal of existing unit, new 80,000 BTU high-efficiency gas furnace, thermostat, gas connection, flue, and township permit. Typical 1–2 day install.
New 14 SEER condenser, matching evaporator coil, line-set run up to 25 ft, electrical disconnect, and startup commissioning. Existing ductwork assumed serviceable.
