A quiet space
to become reacquainted
with yourself.

Integrative psychotherapy, counselling and clinical supervision for adults moving through anxiety, burnout, grief and the longer seasons of change. Slow, considered work — one session at a time.

Therapy as reflection — not performance.

BeingReflective is grounded in the belief that we rarely need fixing. More often, we need a place spacious enough to hear ourselves think — and a steady, trained presence to help us listen.

My work draws on integrative psychotherapy, somatic awareness, mindfulness and the slower traditions of depth psychology. Together, these form a practice that meets you as a whole person: body, history and present tense.

Nothing is forced. Sessions move at the pace your nervous system can tolerate — and we begin, always, with where you actually are.

What we might hold together.

You don't need the right words for it before you arrive. Most people don't. The list below is a starting point, not a checklist.
i.

Anxiety & Panic

The persistent hum of worry, the racing heart, the thoughts that arrive uninvited at 3am. We'll look at what your nervous system is trying to tell you — and find ways to settle it, gently.

ii.

Stress & Burnout

The exhaustion of holding it all together. The slow erosion of self that comes from carrying too much for too long. Therapy here is about repair — and reconsidering what you've agreed to.

iii.

Grief & Loss

Not only the death of a person — but the ending of a relationship, a role, a chapter, a version of yourself. Grief asks to be witnessed before it can be integrated.

iv.

Life Transitions

Midlife. Parenthood. Retirement. Relocation. The thresholds that ask us to loosenthe old shape of a life and let a new one emerge — uncertain, but our own.

v.

Relationships & Self

The patterns that repeat. The ways we abandon ourselves, or others, in the name of love. The therapy room is a safe place to rehearse something different.

vi.

Search for Meaning

The quieter kind of struggle. A sense that something is missing, even when everything looks fine from the outside. Depth work is well-suited to this territory.

Slow enough to mean something. Structured enough to feel safe.

i

The first conversation

A 50-minute initial session where we talk about what's bringing you to therapy now — and whether we're the right fit. There's no obligation to continue.

No referral needed. Self-referral welcome.

ii

Settling into the work

Weekly 50-minute sessions, usually at the same time each week. Continuity matters — it's part of what makes therapy different from talking with a friend.

In-person from Yateley or online.

iii

The longer arc

Some come for a defined piece of work — six months around a specific event. Others stay longer, doing depth work that unfolds over years. Both are valid.

Pace is set collaboratively, reviewed often.

A still life evoking reflective clinical supervision for counsellors and psychotherapists

Clinical supervision, held with care.

Alongside my client work, I offer clinical supervision to qualified and training counsellors, psychotherapists and those in the helping professions.

Supervision here is reflective rather than purely managerial — a space to think about your clients, your countertransference, your development as a practitioner, and the questions that don't have tidy answers.

"Good supervision doesn't just protect the client. It protects the therapist's capacity to keep doing this work, year after year."
About the Practice

Founded on a single conviction — that being reflective changes lives.

BeingReflective is an independent psychotherapy practice serving Yateley, Camberley, Fleet and the surrounding villages of north Hampshire and Surrey. Sessions are offered in person from a calm, private consulting space on Corry Avenue, and online for those further afield.

My approach is integrative — drawing on psychodynamic, humanistic, somatic and mindfulness-based traditions, and always tailored to the person sitting across from me. The work is boundaried, confidential, and unhurried.
