Dr. Zayas opened the practice in 2011 after a decade in hospital medicine, with a simple premise: the visit is the treatment. Labs and prescriptions follow, but most patients leave feeling better because someone sat down, looked at them, and explained what was actually going on.
The clinic stays deliberately small. One physician, two medical assistants, and a front desk that picks up the phone. No patient portal maze, no automated trees — just a chart, a conversation, and a plan you can read on the way home.
02 · Philosophy
Preventive medicine is just medicine done early — and done honestly.
Annual physicals are not a checkbox. They are where we catch the blood pressure that has crept up over two years, the A1C that is one point from a diagnosis, the mammogram that was due in March. Most of what shortens a life is slow, silent, and treatable — if someone is paying attention.
That is the work. We measure, we explain, and we follow up. You leave with a copy of your own numbers and a plan written in plain English, not a string of abbreviations.

Indicative prices for self-pay patients. Most insured visits are billed through your plan with a standard copay — call ahead and we will verify your benefits before the appointment.
Annual Wellness Visit
A 60-minute preventive exam: full history, blood pressure, cardiovascular and cancer screening, lab review, and a written plan for the year. Recommended once every 12 months for adults 30+.
