We design and build ground-up custom homes, full-gut renovations, and desert casitas — each one a deliberate answer to light, mountain, and rock. Fixed-price transparency, in-house architecture, and a Project Command guarantee on every contract.

The Practice Architectural model and material samples — rammed earth, oxidized steel, and sandblasted concrete — on a drafting table.

A studio built on clarity, material, and the long horizon.

For two decades we have built only one thing — custom homes for the desert. No tract, no spec, no shortcuts.

Alair Homes Paradise Valley was founded on a simple conviction: that a custom home deserves a custom process. Every project begins with a blank drafting board and an honest conversation about how you want to live — morning light, evening shadow, the mountain you want to wake up to. From that, we build a fixed-price contract, an in-house architectural set, and a construction schedule you can read at a glance.

We are licensed general contractors in Arizona (ROC #312-345), certified by the National Association of Home Builders, and we operate under Alair's proprietary Project Command framework — a transparent, weekly reporting system that gives every client line-item visibility into budget, schedule, and selections long before the first wall is framed.

Six ways we build for the desert.

From a 9,000-square-foot ground-up estate on the south face of Camelback to a 480-square-foot guest casita behind a Mummy Mountain remodel — every engagement runs on the same fixed-price Project Command spine. Indicative investment ranges below; final pricing is set only after the architectural set is complete.
