We're a small practice on purpose. Most appointments run thirty minutes, not twelve, and you'll see the same physician at every visit — not a rotating cast of locums.
That continuity matters. It means your blood-pressure trend, your medication history, and the conversation from last March are all in the room with us. It means fewer duplicate labs, fewer surprise referrals, and a care plan that actually fits the life you're living.
As part of UTMB Health, we share records with specialists across the Galveston County network, order labs through the UTMB pathology suite, and refer directly when a case needs a cardiologist, endocrinologist, or dermatologist.

We accept most major plans — Aetna, BCBS of Texas, Cigna, Humana, Medicare, and Texas Medicaid. Listed rates apply to self-pay visits only. Most insured visits are a standard copay.

Good to know
Same-day acute slots are released at 8:00a each weekday. Telehealth video visits are available for established patients Monday through Friday, billed at the same rate as an in-person follow-up.
After hours, the UTMB Health nurse triage line is reachable through the main clinic number for urgent but non-emergency concerns. For emergencies, dial 911 or visit the UTMB Health Emergency Department in Galveston.
